Duties and responsibilities: • Provide administrative assistance to the merSETA Green Manufacturing Index, Green Building Index workshops and Energy Efficient Materials projects. • Provide recording and filing assistance. • Handle communication with relevant role players. • Organise meetings, send out agendas, compile minutes. • Record all communication and file. • Keep record of all financial transactions. • Populate the merSETA NSDMS database with data as required. • Receive and send out communication. • Organise venues, transport, and accommodation for relevant role players. • Liaising and networking with centre coordinators, UFS Faculties, South Campus and Main Campus personnel and support staff, as well as merSETA staff. • Become acquainted with all relevant University and Faculty policies and to implement these appropriately. • Perform other administrative duties as designated by the Head of the School/ Department.
Inherent requirements: • A Diploma in Administration or Office Management on NQF level 5 or higher. • A minimum of three (3) years’ administrative experience.
Recommendations: • Knowledge of UFS PeopleSoft campus solutions and Blackboard. Salary: The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 301 475.48 - R 378 285.65 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, experience and qualifications.
