Umsobomvu Municipality: General Workers (Noupoort and Colesberg)


Umsobomvu Municipality, with its seat in Colesberg, covering the area of Noupoort, Colesberg, Norvalspont and all adjacent rural areas, seeks applications from suitable qualified individuals for the following positions until 30 October 2020.

GENERAL WORKERS (Noupoort and Colesberg)


Qualifications and Experience: Grade 10; proficient in at least 1 local spoken language; Literate.

Key Performance Areas:

Performs general worker activities associated with but not limited to the building and maintenance of gravel roads; building, maintenance, reseal and patching of surfaced roads; building, cleaning and maintenance of storm water and drainage systems; cleaning of parks, open spaces, gardens; sweeping of streets; cutting of grass and pruning of trees, shoveling of overgrown open spaces; cleaning of cemeteries, maintenance on water distribution network, sanitation, refuse removal, etc.

Remuneration: T Grade 3 – R104 292.00 to R123 708.00 per annum

Benefits: Normal fringe benefits as applicable to employees who falls within the ambit of the S.A.

Local Government Bargaining Council.
