Minimum Requirements:
• Post-Matric Qualification in Electrical Engineering (Power/Heavy current).
• Computer literacy.
• A valid driving licence would be advantageous.
• South African Citizen.
• Resident of City of Ekurhuleni.
• Young Person 18-35 years, but men and women over 35 years will be considered.
• Ability to communicate with communities.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Core Responsibilities:
• Inspection and audit of the identified projects.
• Monitoring, implementation and management of Energy Efficiency Demand Side Management (EEDSM) and other projects.
• Processing and approving of EG applications.
• Collection of building data for EPC purposes.
• Performing different duties at the allocated electrical workshop.
• Provide support to appointed service providers.
• Provide support on supply chain management processes.
• Provide support on achieving service delivery targets for the Department.
• Provide support on all the administrative and management of projects.
• Attend meetings and trainings.
