Job Purpose Responsible for ensuring that all CCTV Operations are protected and secured against illegal or harmful actions, which may be prejudicial to the company's interest. Supervising all CCTV technical related issues, staff and equipment.
National Diploma (N6)
Technicon Diploma (S4)
Knowledge of digital electronics and electronic transmission
Previous CCTV experience an added advantage
Furthermore the incumbent must possess the following attributes:

Must be willing to work irregular hours as per business requirements.
Key Performance Areas:
To complete his / her attendance register daily and to abide by the duties of the approved monthly roster and to sign on / off duty in the Camera Room EOB.
To assist his / her manager to ensure maximum protection of Company, staff and customer property and the Company's interest in terms of the applicable laws and other statutes pertaining to Company operations in accordance with the corporate goals and corporate security policy.
To develop an awareness of crime prevention, detection and observation and to ensure that Hotel rules and regulations and criminal statutory laws are enforced and adhered to by all persons concerned.
To strictly adhere to all gaming procedures as per ICS, SOP, Limpopo Gambling Board rules and regulations.
To ensure the proper maintenance and installations to the highest standard of all CCTV equipment.
To check the maintenance/repairs register and rectify any problems reported giving preference to gaming cameras, DVR's (HDD) and ensuring these repairs are done within 24 hours. Any repairs not completed are to be reported to the manager.
Injunction with his / her managers, plan, organise, co-ordinate, control and execute the Technical Workshop operations to ensure the efficient discharge of the daily duties and to ensure the smooth running of the operations.
To provide information and recommendations to Managers with the aim of enhancing CCTV Operations.
To keep track of all spares, obtain quotes and to inform management timeously to authorise orders are required
In conjunction with Investigations Section assist in any requirements for covert or other coverage of areas.
To give evidence in disciplinary hearings if and when required.
To give evidence in and produce exhibits for purposes of criminal courts pertaining to investigations
Liaise with management and ensure that fire and safety rules of the company are adhered to.
To act responsible and with the highest level of discipline, restraint and professionalism at all times, no matter what the circumstances.
To always act in such a manner, both on and off Company premises, whether on or off duty, so as not to bring his / her department or the Company' s name in disrepute.
Additional and irregular working hours over and above the normal working hours may have to be performed, as prescribed by Management, to suit the business operation.
