Org Structure No: 80020606 OME: Energy Operations Business Unit: Energy Ops - Natref Operations City/Town: Sasolburg Short Description / Purpose of Job An Artisan - Electrician supports production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes, and utilising all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant. Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Install, connect, maintain and commission of electrical equipment
Proactive identification of equipment failures in advanceConduct high level fault finding, repair and inspections on switchgear, control systems, transformers, DC Systems, Cables, Earthing Systems, Protection Systems, Heaters, Motors, UPS's, VDS's (any of the following: WEG, ABB & Siemens) and Classified EquipmentMaintain personal safety and safety for others according to procedures
Working Knowledge of protection relays and overloads and be able to do maintenance and fault finding
Understands and read engineering drawings
Standby duties
Utilize SAP in the maintenance environment (CMMS)
Participate in Risk Assessments(HIRA) and HAZOPS
Coach and evaluate learners and junior artisans in own known environment (Knowledge sharing).
Switching/ Electrical Distribution experience
Close and visual inspection of classified equipment

Grade 12/N3 Electrical (Maths & Science)
NQF 4 Electrical Trade test and Red seal
NQF 4 qualification (CHIETA/MQA preferred)
Valid code 08 license
