Applications are invited for the following vacancies in the Roads and Transport Planning Services Department.
OPERATOR: REGRAVEL (OUDTHOORN X1)
Salary: R 141 993,00 – R 184 334, 76 per annum (T6)
Must have EC License & PrDP.
Must have a Minimum of 2 years with handling any of the 3 machinery; Trucks, Bulldozer,Grader.
Language proficiency in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans and/or English and/or IsiXhosa)
Completion of official documentation to ensure effective administration.
Gravelling of gravel road according to PGWC Policy to apply new road surface to gravel road
Complying to safe working procedure
Handling of heavy vehicles to ensure safe and effective utilisation of implements
Gravel patchwork in conjuction with superintendent and supervisor to ensure safe driving surface of road for travelling public.
Ensure the maintenance, safeguarding of plant and equipment
Transport dangerous material according to Haschem and occupational safety legislation to ensure the effective distribution and issuing of
Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Garden Route District Municipal area.
