BORDER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
The establishment of a Border Management Authority was enabled by a legal framework that allowed a single authority to execute functions on Dalian of multiple principal Organs of State regarding specilically defined functions, whether they be at Port of Entry or Border Law Enforcement Area. The Border Management Authority Act (No 2 of 2020) was assented to and signed Into law by the president In July 2020. The Border Management Authority has identified the need to recruit additional 400 Junior Border Guards from the current unemployed youth who are In possession of any public security services 'ownership certificates In order to train them through what It Is called the Junior Border Guards Trainee Programme which will proper° these young people for possible future opportunities and placement in the Border Management Authority The Border Management Authority Invites suitable candidates to apply for the following trainee programme.
POST: JUNIOR BORDER GUARD TRAINEES (400 OPPORTUNITIES)
DIVISION: OPERATIONS
CENTRE: VARIOUS PORTS OF ENTRY STIPEND: R4 800
Requirements;
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Applicants must be not older than 35 years at age,
• Must have any training certificate in Public Security Environment i.e., Certificate In Policing or National Diploma in Policing or National Certificate in General Security Services or any other relevant public or community Policing certificate,
• Must have not been declared unfit to possess a firearm and be able to obtain firearm competency..
• Must have no criminal record.
• Knowledge of law enforcement
• A valid driver's license will be an added advantage.
• Trustworthy and self-motivated
• Physical fitness
• Discipline, empathy, external actualization, and Irustration tolerance
Comprehensive CVs should be accompanied by relevant certified copies of all required documentation,
