Overview Company Description: Join us at our Rustenburg (1 position) and Amandelbult Complex (5) as a Professional Nurse to play a key part in providing medical nursing support and medical care services to Anglo American and its employees within the Occupational Health Centre.

Job Description: As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care. You will also be required to assess and identify client/patient needs, plan and implement nursing care plans according to identified needs and deliver nursing care according to the patient’s health needs.
Your responsibilities will also include:

Plan and implement nursing care plan according to identified needs
Assess the 'fitness for duty' of team members and take any subsequent necessary action
Engage in physical safety checks, interventions and coaching
Ensure accurate record keeping
This role is at the Process and/or Mining Operations at a Band 8 level reporting to the Senior Professional Nurse. Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing Science
Dispensing licence (essential)
Primary Health Care Diploma (advantageous)
Experience in good clinical practice
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
At least 2 years’ experience as a Primary Healthcare Nurse within the mining or industrial environment
Computer literate
QMed experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of nursing processes, procedures and techniques and a good understanding of the health care policies
Understanding of safety management, behavioural safety and risk management framework, procedures and systems
Good understanding of the related health care policies and procedures
Communication skills (written and verbal) and report writing skills
Willing & able to work overtime / be on standby as per operational requirements
Valid driver’s license
