Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: RECRUITMENT AND ON-BOARDING


Provide Super User support and advice for applicants and hiring managers using the recruitment system

Review applications and create long list based on the inherent requirements of the role as outlined in the advert, and route to Hiring Manager.

Once interviews are scheduled, conduct interviews with the hiring manager and another panel member.

Once potential candidates are selected, will either arrange for additional psychometric assessments, if required or proceed straight to the offer phase

Obtain and capture recommendation online

Once recommendation has been approved obtain package and employee number, populate offer letter and employment contract

Do online regretting of unsuccessful candidates

Act as liaison between the company and recruitment agencies

Ensure the induction has taken place and on-boarding modules are completed

Maintaining and securely storing necessary information to be easily retrievable for Audit purposes

RESPONSIBILITIES: HEALTH AND SAFETY


Ensure that IODs are captured on Comp-Easy

Ensure that all source documents are retrievable for Audit purposes

Follow up on progress if required e.g. medical reports

RESPONSIBILITIES: PERFORMANCE MOTIVATION


Collaborate and advise on the design of performance motivation system;

Assist with complaints or disputes relating to performance motivation process

Coordinating the collection of needed data on a timely basis for regular reports on progress

Provide administrative support with all communication and sensitization

Monitoring of the process to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business needs.

Ensure that all source documents are retrievable for Audit purposes

RESPONSIBILITIES: EMPLOYEE RELATIONS


Provide administrative support on all Employee Relations matters

Act as HC representative in grievance and disciplinary matters including minute taking

Ensuring the maintenance of employment policies on M-Files

Ensure that all source documents are retrievable for Audit purposes

RESPONSIBILITIES: REPORTING PROCESS


Provide information for various Human Capital reporting requirements

To contribute to HC communications using a variety of mediums

RESPONSIBILITIES: EMPLOYMENT EXITING / OFF-BOARDING


Handling or facilitating the termination process

Provide the necessary termination documents for the employee and line management to fill in.

Inform all relevant support teams about the termination in advance

Facilitate the recovery of Company Equipment and Assets where necessary in liaison with line managers

Ensure that all source documents are retrievable for Audit purposes

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources/Learning and Development

3 years’ experience in HR environment

Excellent telephone etiquette and / or customer service.

Output and deadline driven

High level of proficiency in relevant software packages and applications (MS Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

IT Literacy with potential for further IT training (HRIS, ERP, MIS)

Understanding of Project management fundamentals
