Power Apprentice X2

Key Output

  • Successfully complete all theoretical learning, practical training and skills assessments

  • Apply all skills learnt in the workplace

  • Complete necessary documentation for the required experience building (Logbook, Training records)

  • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)

  • Achieve individual balanced scorecard and KPI’s

  • Effective self-management and performance ownership

  • Accurate reporting on task completed and related documentation/administration

  • Productivity and cost control

  • Safety, Risk and Contamination Control


Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • Grade 12/ Matric with N3 level mathematics and physical science or FLT(Foundational Learning Certificate)

  • N2 or higher: Maths, Science, Trade Theory and Technical Drawings

  • NCV4: Maths, Physical Science, Industrial Science, Diesel Trade Theory, Technical Drawings and /OR Electrical Trade Theory.

  • Valid Driver’s Licence – Code B (to be obtained before trade test)

  • Basic analytical ability

  • Basic technical /mechanical reasoning

  • Basic numerical reasoning

  • Spatial visualization

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Must not suffer from claustrophobia

  • Must not suffer from vertigo or be afraid of working at heights

  • Must be physically fit
