Job summary:

Limba is a proudly South African athleisure and activewear brand that makes comfortable, high quality active lifestyle wear for women who are on the move. Limba is seeking a passionate and results-driven sales associate to join our team. 

As a key brand ambassador, You will create an exceptional shopping experience by engaging with customers, providing expert styling advice, and driving sales. Your enthusiasm for an active lifestyle and local fashion, coupled with outstanding customer service skills, will make you a valuable part of our dynamic team.



Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers, identify their needs, and deliver personalized styling advice.

  • Maintain expert knowledge of our athleisure and activewear collections to offer tailored recommendations and product insight. 

  • Ensure a seamless customer experience from first interaction to final purchase.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.

  • Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards to optimize sales.

  • Process all transactions efficiently, including cash, card, and vouchers, ensuring accuracy. (Yoco is the preferred point of sale) 

  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-energy team environment.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 qualification.

  • 2 years of experience in retail or hospitality, preferably in fashion,

  • Strong sales ability with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideally candidates should be confident in speaking English and Afrikaans. 

  • A proactive, customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

  • Effective time management and the ability to multitask. 

  • Must have reliable transport to commute to and from the store in central Cape Town.

  • Due to the nature of the product range and client preferences, this role is best suited for female candidates.
