Job Description	Responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and on schedule to maintain compliance and employee satisfaction. This includes minimizing payroll errors, verifying data integrity, and adhering to processing timelines to support operational efficiency. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely input of employee data into the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status. Coordinate with Finance to reconcile payroll transactions, ensuring alignment with accounting records and financial reporting requirements. Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions related to benefits deductions, contributions, and payments. Assist in the accurate and timely entry of payroll data into the system, including employee information, hours worked, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings. Verify the accuracy of data entered and resolve discrepancies or errors as needed. Maintain organised and up-to-date payroll files, records, and documentation, both electronically and in hard copy. Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements and confidentiality standards for payroll-related information. Respond to payroll-related inquiries and requests from employees, managers, HR personnel, and external stakeholders. Draft and distribute payroll-related communications, memos, and announcements as directed. Generate standard payroll reports, such as payroll registers, earnings statements, tax filings, and labour cost summaries. Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data, complying with data protection regulations and company policies. Assist Payroll Manager in processing payroll transactions, including calculating wages, salaries, overtime, and deductions. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure system accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to develop annual payroll calendars, including pay periods, processing deadlines, and payroll processing schedules. Ensure payroll calendars align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting practices. Maintain accurate documentation of payroll calendars, including historical records, revisions, and updates. Ensure payroll calendar information is accessible and well-organised for reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications & Experience	•    Minimum: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.•    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing.•    In depth experience of managing multi-dimensional programmes, deadlines, and large budgets.•    Engagement with diverse, external international stakeholders in managing legislative risk.•    Experience in working across a broad spectrum of industries – from white collar to unionised environments.•    Knowledge of Payroll systems functionality: SAP Payroll  • Problem Solving• Attention to Detail• Stakeholder Management • Planning and Organising• Persuading and Influencing• Adapting and Responding to Change• Deciding and Initiating Action • Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations• Coping with Pressures and Setbacks
