Part-time lectures at TUT for HRD/ HRD/Labour Relations graduates

The Faculty of Management Sciences requires the services of part-time lecturers for day, evening, and Saturday classes in the Department of People Management and Development.
Key performance areas/Core functions:
• Preparing and conducting lectures and practicals.
• Advanced presentation skills.
• Proven ability in using teaching technology.
• Setting and marking of all types of assessments.
• Participating in departmental meetings and subject meetings.
• General administration such as capturing test and assignment marks on ITS, myTUTor and uploading Teaching and Learning documents on myTUTor.
• Student consultation.
• Comply with the Prospectus guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
1. Academic Qualification
a. Masters (NQF level 9) relating to the field of study as stated below.
i. For Diploma modules in Human Resource Management:
A minimum of a Masters degree (NQF level 9) is required in the field of Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations.
ii. For Advanced/Postgraduate modules in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations:
A minimum of a Masters degree (NQF level 9)) is required in the field of Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development/Labour Relations.
2. Experience
a. Study record with major subjects in the above fields of study.
b. Three years of relevant teaching experience at a tertiary institution will be required.
c. Industry-related experience.
d. Proficiency in MS Office and other TUT-related software/computer programs.
e. Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
f. Completion of a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory.
g. Attend an orientation program at TUT.
3. Registration with a professional body (if applicable):
a. Being a member of a professional body will be an added advantage.
