Introduction...
We are seeking a creative and innovative individual whose main role will be to work with our eLearning knowledge and content specialists to design and develop online content for internal learning purposes.
As a secondary role, this person will support our eLearning Administrator in taking care of the operational performance of our Learner Management System (LMS) as well as offering assistance to the trainers within the OUTsurance Learning Academy.
This person must gain an in-depth knowledge of our LMS, be able to identify and solve systems related glitches and create efficiencies within the environment.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / BA Graphic Design or similar
Portfolio of work will be required (please include link on the CV)
Exposure to one or more of the below programmes or similar will be compulsory:
Adobe Creative Suite
Articulate 360 or earlier version
Microsoft Office
Vyond Studio or earlier version
Audio and video editing and production
Exposure to coding using HTML, CSS and JavaScript will be beneficial, but is not compulsory.
Job Specification...
Responsibilities:
Engage in the learning material development process, including deliverables, sign-offs and timelines
Design and develop online learning content using appropriate software
Deal with technical support calls/emails/queries from stakeholders and trainers
Provide first line support on LMS issues and escalate these as necessary, ensuring these are logged and resolved
Reporting on usage and statistics
Test and quality assure content on the LMS
Maintain the LMS procedure document
Build onto the social component of the LMS
Explore trends in mobile learning and build onto the adoption of this feature
Investigate the LMS, suggest improvements that will reduce manual tasks
Ensure trainers’ LMS knowledge and skill is up to date based on new findings within the LMS
Assist Academy trainers by:
Uploading and updating course material and assessments to the LMS
Creating and managing classes on the LMS, as well as daily attendance rostering
Creating, monitoring and drawing of online surveys/feedback forms
Manually uploading results to the LMS
Conduct per question trend analysis
Providing support during virtual classroom sessions

Take note to qualify for an INSETA learnership program you need to be a South African citizen, not previously on an Internship with INSETA, unemployed and between the ages of 18 & 35.
