Job Summary Statement

To provide support and assistance with the administrative functionality and implementation of procedures, applications, systems and controls to facilitate the supporting, updating, circulation and maintenance of information from/ to the region, with regards to various activities within the relevant Department.


Minimum Requirements

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant Qualification (National Diploma or Degree) in Procurement and Logistics, or Supply Chain Management completed.

Relevant Honours Degree will be advantageous.



EXPERIENCE:

Must have valid Driver’s license & own transport.

Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Power Point).

Preference will be given to candidates from the Northern Cape (Kathu and surrounding areas).

Previous experience not compulsory although any previous experience in an Opencast Mining environment especially in dealing with Heavy Earthmoving Equipment parts and components will be advantageous.

Knowledge and experience of the SAGE and ORB Fusion system will be a strong advantage.

Must have the ability to be developed to perform an Administrative and Support function to Line management and employees, relevant to respective discipline/field of study.
