LEARNER MINER
General Requirements:
. Minimum grade 12 - N2 with Math's & Science minimum 50% pass rate MUST HAVE!!
• A Self-motivated person.
. Able to study and complete the program in 2 years.
. Must be able to work shifts.
. 2 years' mining experience underground will be an advantage.
. Relocate to Witbank Hostel facility CTC during the theoretical phase.
. Sober habits.
• No person is to apply for more than one position on list.
• Pass evaluation questionnaire done by a panel of senior employees.
. Proven track record in production, safety, environment and attendance record.
. Application submission date: 31th July 2025 Note that NO CV's will be accepted after this date.
Experience required
. Must be able to work underground
• Must be able to work independently or as a team.
Qualifications:
• Grade 11 or Equivalent with Maths and Science
• Interpersonal communication skills are required and essential
• B Tech or M Tech in Mining Engineering (Advantage)
• Flexibility is required and essential (able to work rotation of shifts)
• Physical Fitness
Additional Requirements
• Clear Criminal Record
. Must be 18 years and or above
. Valid drivers license
. Problem solving skills
. South African Citizenship
. Hard working and dedicated
