Internship Programme for TVET and University Graduates at KZN Social Development


INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2023/2024

REQUIREMENTS:

KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development is contributing towards skills development initiatives for the youth in the province by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain workplace experience in various work disciplines. Applications are therefore invited from unemployed graduates to participate in the Internship Programme that will run for a period of 12 months contract. which provide them with valuable work experience and ',cr., the r opportunities towards employment. The Department will pay a monthly stipend of R6 000.00 to University Graduates and R5000.00 to TVET College Graduates.


Candidates must be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu.Natal. Unemployed graduates must have completed tertiary qualifications (certificated through graduation) which is a three-year (3) Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma from a recognized University or College and have never participated in an Internship Programme from National, Provincial and Local government before. They must be prepared to relocate to any of the offices listed below at own costs. Candidates must be computer literate. prepared to undergo selection process that will include a structured interview.

HOW TO APPLY: Applications must be on a fully completed Z83 form (obtainable at any Public Service Department) with a detailed CV including contact telephone number and postal address, certified copies of ID, matric certificate and qualifications. Applicants must clearly indicate the specific area of placement between Head Office in Pietermaritzburg and in Twelve District offices respectively. Applicants must state clearly the business unit are applying for and reference number. Applicants must attach proof of residence and signed affidavit indicating that they are unemployed and that they never benefited from the internship programme before.
