Vacancy 4- Information Technology Intern
The South African Pharmacy Council invites applications for internships as advertised for a period of twelve (12) months.
Division: Information Technology
Stipend: R7 280
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related qualification
Competencies:
knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, ability to work under pressure, good verbal and written communication skills, analytical, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
Provide technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues.
Provide support in maintaining and troubleshooting the network, server, and hardware infrastructure.
Conduct research on new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the IT infrastructure.
Assist in data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation to support data-driven business decisions.
Support with the configuration, monitoring and user management of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune and Teams.
Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures to protect SAPC data and IT systems.
Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and documentation of internal software tools and applications.
Support with the implementation and enforcement of IT policies, compliance processes and project management.
Assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting the telephony system including IP phones, PABX and voicemail services.
Reports to the Manager Information Technology on all matters regarding KPAs
