The indalopreneur Just Transition Enterprise Programme (I-JTEP) Upscale is being implemented as a pilot project of the Sector Job Resilience Programme (SJRP) for the coal value chain. The programme seeks to upscale just energy transition entrepreneurial innovations by supporting
entrepreneurs operating in the coal value chain and whose enterprises provide innovative solutions which adjust to climate change, reduce environmental harm. The sectors we are focusing on are:
If this sounds like your business, and you are based or operate in the below local municipalities of the Mpumalanga province, then apply for I-JTEP Upscale Indalovator Programme inclusive of the New Venture Creation (NVC).

CALL FOR APPLICATION!
Enterprises (four per municipality) will be selected to participate in the i-JTEP Indalovator and New Venture Creation (NVC) programmes.
Be a South African resident based in one of the abovementioned local municipality (i.e Steve Tshwete, Govan Mbeki, Msukaligwa, or eMalahleni).
Have a green innovative solution within the water, agriculture, and energy sector.
Not currently part of more than two (2) incubation programmes in South Africa.
The applicant should show a willingness to learn, grow and commit to the full duration of the programme.
The applicant must be directly involved in the enterprise operations.
The enterprise should have high potential to contribute to the green economy.
The enterprise should positively contribute to climate change adaptation and mitigation.
The enterprise should deliver social, environmental, and economic benefits.
Have potential for scale up and replicate.
Have intention and potential to create job opportunities.

BRIEFING SESSION
Join us for an online briefing session on the 11th of January 2024 at 14:00.
The briefing session will provide an overview on the Indalovator & NVC
Programme and will allow participants to ask questions.
