Purpose of the Job To provide an opportunity for graduates to obtain relevant practical work experience by contributing to the maintenance and improvement on the company’s environmental performances, ensuring compliance to environmental legislation and standards

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • BSc Environmental Management degree (NQF 7) from an approved tertiary institution is essential.

  • Good understanding and technical knowledge within the field of study.

  • Medically fit for Base and or Precious Metal Refinery.

Training Programme / Duties and Responsibilities

  • Twenty four (24) months internship with a set training programme that will enhance general knowledge of the platinum industry.

  • The programme will also provide sound understanding on the environmental management system (ISO14000), waste-, water- and air quality management plans including borehole sampling and community noise monitoring.

  • Administer the Isometrix system, investigate environmental complaints / incidents and subsequent report writing.

  • Attend HAZOP and conduct inspections on construction projects.
