Duties & Responsibilities

  • Twenty-four (24) months internship with a set training programme that will enhance general knowledge of the platinum industry focusing on Impala Platinum’s value chain.

  • The programme will also provide sound understanding of BMR and PMR processes.

  • During this training programme, focus will be on development of a sound understanding of mass balances, calculation and reporting IT systems, report writing, auditing, presentations, cost, quality principles.


Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • BSc Chemical Engineering (NQF 7) from an approved tertiary institution is essential.

  • Good understanding and technical knowledge within the field of study.

  • Medically fit for both plants (PMR and BMR).



Purpose of the Job To provide an opportunity for graduates to obtain relevant practical work experience thus providing technical assistances to the plant/operations to ensure optimal operation and the continual improvement of the process.
