Desired Qualifications & requirements
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry degree (NQF 8) from an approved tertiary institution is essential.
Knowledge of specific laboratory processes and instruments required.
Knowledge of preparation & verification processes including application
Sound analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills essential.
Medically fit for BMR and or PMR.
Duties & Responsibilities
Twenty four (24) months internship with a set training programme that will enhance general knowledge of the platinum industry and improve analytical methods as set out below:
equipment/instrumentation maintenance, monitoring, precision testing
quality assurance and quality control
customer surveying and liaison
safety, health, environmental, quality and security compliance to International standards
Submit quarterly reports as per the training programme.
Provide technical support to operational areas to enable the company to meet its business plan and operational targets.
