Job Purpose

To promote and sell financial services and insurance products to prospective customers

Key Responsibilities

Promote and seek out new clients

Leads Generation – ensure set targets are achieved daily

Sales Generation – ensure that set targets are achieved and ensuring that quality of leads and sales by achieving the required right party contract (RPC)

Selling one or more types of financial services and insurance products directly to prospective clients

Ensuring all sales are fulfilled in terms of Hollard’s best practice and in terms of legislation and that no sales are made that do not comply with all of Hollard’s best practice and legislation

Attending and ensuring all training provided by Hollard is complete and up to date

Attending and participating in meetings and sales hurdles

Calculating premiums and providing payment plans where applicable

Explain features, benefits and exclusions of various policies to promote sale of financial services and insurance plans

Adhere to the non-advice selling process by ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and business process/procedures

Required Knowledge and Experience

6 months to 1 year sales experience

Experience in selling financial services and insurance products will be an added advantage

Basic computer literacy

Lateral thinking, assertive and innovative.

Good written and verbal communication

Customer oriented skills (relations and client satisfaction)

Proficiency of language – English and African languages

Selling Skills

Interpersonal skills

Effective written and communication skills

Good negotiation skills

Self-motivated and disciplined

Target Driven

Operating in high pressured environment
