Core Responsibilities:
Assist in creating heritage mapping of all heritage sites of City of Ekurhuleni and artefacts digitization in the museum
Capture all information collected into the system
Digitize additional researched information
Document and record information about the art deco buildings
Interview relevant people to get more information
Compile research of subjects of heritage interest in the City of Ekurhuleni

Post matric qualifications (National Diploma or Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Social Studies, ICT, Heritage Studies, Museology post graduate degree is advantageous)
South African Citizen
Resident of City of Ekurhuleni between 18 - 35 years, but men and women over 35 years will also be considered
Exhibit knowledge of the Museum and Heritage Sector
Must have an average command in English both verbally and in writing
At least 1 year post qualification experience in research, data capturing and ICT in the Heritage Sector
Knowledge of heritage digitization
