Afrimat Eckraal Quarries, based in Rosslyn has a vacancy for: Health and Safety Intern
Requirements
Grade 12
National diploma / Degree in Safety or Environmental
Health Samtrac Qualification(Preferably Mining Samtrac)
Driver's license (Essential)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 legislation
Knowledge of Environmental related legislation would be advantageous
Must be from the Tshwane Municipality

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist SHE team to oversee and manage day-today functions
Assist in developing, implementing, reviewing and improving company SHE policies, SOP's, COP's and risk assessments
Schedule and attend weekly/monthly SHE meetings as well as committee meetings
Assist with workplace inspections, audits and address all findings
Conduct toolbox talks
