Job Advert Summary
Management and monitoring of risk management systems for Scientific Services to ensure protection of Rand water assets and personnel.
24 Months Contract
Minimum Requirements
• B.Tech in Health & Safety Management.
• SAMTRAC/Equivalent.
• Root Cause Analysis Technique (RCAT).
• Driver’s license.
Primary Duties
• SHE induction of contractors and new Rand Water employees.
• Monitor contractors’ compliance onsite.
• Coordinating SHE Reps monthly inspections and reporting.
• SHE awareness training of employees.
• Conduct quarterly internal audits.
• Monitor adherence to legal & other requirements.
• Coordinate collection & disposal of waste from site.
• CCTV & access control system management.
• Complete a project as defined by the Risk Control Coordinator.
Knowledge
Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
Basic knowledge of statistical software
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 9001 standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages
