Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The successful candidates will undergo an intensive, structured 18-month Graduate in Training Development Programme under the supervision of professionals within the HR Department. The Programme is designed to enable the Graduates to acquire knowledge and develop skills in a heavy Engineering plant in the mineral processing industry with regards to Human Resources Management.
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.

BUSINESS PROCESSES
Assist with all HR processes
Assist with Employee Relations related matters
Administrative functions (e.g. filing, data capturing, updated record keeping etc.)
Comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Basic Conditions of Employment, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, etc.)
Compile reports and statistics and analyse trends when required
Assist with internal communication and event planning
Assist with other ad-hoc queries
Work overtime as and when required
Administrate HR Systems (SAP HR, COUPA, Direct Hire, LMS)
Capture Medical and Induction completion for TAS on Staffbook
Assist with Recruitment process when required
Book accommodation when required
Schedule all external training for TAS
Capture all training on LMS for TAS
Coordinate LMS queries
Coordinate new training uploads on LMS
Manage compliance of all legal training requirements for TAS
Process all training invoices
Compile monthly training reports for group training
Logistical and administrative arrangements for Union and IR related matters
Union meeting minutes and record keeping

Minimum qualifications
Relevant Degree or B-Tech in Human Resources Management
Computer Literacy (MS Office)
Advantageous:
Driver's License (Minimum B/ Code 08)
Own vehicle and a willingness to travel.

Ability to communicate effectively with people throughout the organisation
Strong administrative and organisational skills
