Perform daily tasks of cleaning and plant environment and offices, requesting relevant supplies to ensure ongoing availability, and preparation of identified areas.


Requirements

• Grade 8- 12.

• No operational experience required.



GENERAL WORKER – A2

Reference Code: GW_LAB

Key Performance Areas

Perform the daily cleaning of the general interior and selected exterior areas of the laboratory building. Perform the daily cleaning of bathrooms as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Perform the daily cleaning of the Laboratory and office kitchens. Perform the routine cleaning of offices and the sick room. Perform the general cleaning of selected areas within laboratory sections. Perform the cleaning of glassware and sample containers as per SOP. Perform the emptying of dustbins and removal of waste to allocated areas. Prepare refreshments for staff meetings and visitors as requested. Request the timeous ordering of consumables and resources to ensure the ongoing provision of cleaning duties. Comply with and adhere to all ERWAT Company Policies, Procedures and Occupational Safety Regulations.


Requirements

• A National Senior Certificate (Grade 10, 11 or 12).

• No operational or managerial experience required.

• The ability to stand for long hours and physical fitness is required to perform duties.
