SALARY: STIPEND: R8 865.00pm

REQUIREMENTS: An applicable 3-year Diploma/Degree in Financial Management/BAdmin/ Bcom Accounting/Cost & Management Accounting or equivalent qualification (NQF 6). Preference to candidates with relevant NQF Level 7 qualifications.

RECOMMENDATIONS: An equivalent technical knowledge in administration and finance. Proven knowledge of project administration as well as financial management. Experience in financial and programme administration will be an added advantage, Proven ability to communicate cross-culturally, as well as with a wide range of public and private sector counterparts. Sound interpersonal skills. Proficiency in the use of Computers, i.e, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation programme is essential. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English, while knowledge of one or more of the South African languages will be an added advantage. Knowledge of PFMA,Treasury Regulations and SASA. Able to interpret and analyses legislative requirements as well as working in the government sector will be an added advantage.


DUTIES:

• Monitoring of ECD Finances,

• Preparing financial statements,

· Consolidation of ECD's financial statements.

• Performing account reconciliations and audits.

• Compile financial spreadsheets, reports statement.

• Establish and maintain database.

• Training of ECD center's matrons and governing bodies.
