Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounting / Finance / Actuarial Science / Financial Mathematics /Economics graduate with a ‘can do’ attitude, who delivers beyond what is expected of them and is keen to demonstrate their passion for the financial markets to get well rounded exposure in the investment industry. As a trainee of one of our black-owned stockbrokers, you will be provided with structured learning, mentorship and on the job support to ensure your success in the role. As part of the Coronation Catapult Programme, you will be provided with power skills training including but not limited to critical thinking, resilience, business communication skills and coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dealing with matters escalated by the dealing team

Compiling morning reports

Compiling market structure reports

Execution of client orders

Attend to all client queries

Perform settlement process

Amendments of any incorrect allocations or bookings

Monitoring of all settlements

Advise traders of any Profit & Loss (P&L) on positions

Document onboarding processes

Complete onboarding processes as necessary


Ideal Qualifications

BCom, BBus Sci, CFA, Act Sci, Engineering, Accounting / Finance / Actuarial Science / Financial Mathematics /Economics graduate

Any degree majoring in accounting, investments, finance, economics or mathematics


Most Important Attribute

Numerical

Able to work under high pressure

Proven academic ability through diligence and perseverance
