Description
Overberg Water is a water board established in accordance with section 28 of Water Services Act, Act No 108 of 1997 and is classified as Government Business Enterprise as per Schedule 3B entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, Act No. 1 of 1999 as amended.
The entity is seeking to employ two (2) Graduates to work on the Finance Department. The main focus will be the Purchasing and Payables cycle, Revenue and Receivables cycle, Asset Management, Cashbook and Inventories
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:• B Com Accounting degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in the field of Accounting or Finance, NQF 7 equivalent. • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Only South African Citizens are eligible to apply.
COMPETENCIES:• Ability to work in a demanding working environment• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is imperative• Willing to work overtime • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment• Ability to work within a team• Excellent communication skillsPreference will be given to candidates within the Western Cape.
