ENGINEERING STUDIES MARKING VACANCY: EXAMINATION ASSISTANT


College of Cape Town Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College: DHET Thornton Marking Centre has the following vacancy opportunity:


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a college graduate, i.e., have completed NC (V) Level 4, NSC or N6 or higher qualification.

• Must NOT be registered as a current student in a TVET College.

• Must not be a candidate who sat for the exam that is being marked.

• Must be a South African Citizen.

• Must not be over 35 years of age.

• Applications to be accompanied by a brief CV and certified copies of attachments (ID and qualifications)

• Must be staying around/near the marking centre


DUTIES:

• Receiving scripts from the distribution points and marking centre and redirecting scripts to another marking centre.

• Checking if scripts have corresponding information with mark sheets, i.e., ID/examination numbers.

• Checking if scripts are stamped.

• Capturing of raw marks on the DHET system

• Scanning of mark sheets on the MP Flow.

• Checking if marks recorded correspond with the ticks.

• Assisting the marking centre management (MCM) team with various administrative work as per MCM portfolio demands

• Ensuring that scripts are in sequence of the mark sheet.

• Packaging of scripts.
