Minimum Requirements Qualification(s): • National Diploma / National N Diploma Technical Experience: • Related experience in maintenance • P1 and P2 Experiential training

Key Responsibilities • Maintain optimisation of allocated system (Motors, heaters, switchgear, switchboards, diesel generators, lighting systems, transformers, back-up battery systems, etc.) • Perform Battery chargers and inverter maintenance and fault-finding • Perform electrical breaker and switchboard maintenance and protection • Perform technical and human performance investigation via the CAP (Corrective Action Process) • Report writing and presentations • Take out Permit to work as per the Eskom Plant Safety Regulations for low and high voltage systems. • Verify that correct components / spares / services etc. are procured (via the SAP system) • Assist with modifications to improve reliability of plant • Advise and assist with staff development • Perform projects / Contract supervision activities • Comply with permit to work system • Working standby and overtime when required
