Minimum Requirements Qualification(s): • B Eng./Bsc. degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy & Light Current) • B Eng./BSc. Degree in Computer Engineering • B Eng./Bsc. degree in Mechanical Engineering • B Eng./Bsc. degree in Chemical Engineering • B Eng./BSc. Degree in Industrial Engineering Skills and Competencies • Good communication skills • Have the ability to understand technical concept • Be safety conscious • Have conscientious and self-discipline approach • Be responsible and committed • Have emotional resilience • Have the ability to perform physical work • Positive attitude • Be able to work as part of a team Key Responsibilities • Conduct Research and perform desktop studies. • Deployment to various departments within Eskom in the assigned area of discipline. • Site visits to learn and understand how the plant/power system works. • Monthly Report writing. • Feedback Presentations to EIT Committees on work learnt. • Overall Reporting writing on knowledge acquired. This is a 2-year Training Programme where incumbent will be afforded both institutionalised and on job training.
