Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounting / Finance / Actuarial Science / Financial Mathematics /Economics graduate who is keen to demonstrate their passion for the financial markets to get well rounded exposure in the investment research space. As a trainee of one of our black-owned stockbrokers, you will be provided with structured learning, mentorship and on the job support to ensure your success in the role. As part of the Coronation Catapult Programme, you will be provided with power skills training including but not limited to critical thinking, resilience, business communication skills and coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting analysts with research projects across various sectors

Attend meetings with management / Investment Research (IR) teams

Administrative work supporting the research process

Preparation of presentations for report-backs and roadshows

Assisting analysts with spreadsheet models and running company analyses

Assisting analysts with various ad hoc projects


Ideal Experience

None, as this is a graduate role.


Ideal Qualifications

BCom, BBus Sci, CFA, Act Sci, Engineering, Accounting / Finance / Actuarial Science / Financial Mathematics /Economics

Any degree majoring in accounting, investments, finance, economics or mathematics

Numerical

Able to work under high pressure

Proven academic ability through diligence and perseverance
