PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide an opportunity for successful candidates to participate in a Boilermaking engineering learnership programme to attain artisanship by means of trade testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Completed N2 or NCV4 certificate in Boilermaking.
Subjects at N2 level: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Structural Steel drawing, Plater trade theory.
Must have a basic understanding of the applicable trade.
Medically fit for both plants (BMR and PMR)
TRAINING PROGRAMME / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Forty-Two (42) months learnership with a set training programme under the auspices of the Mining Qualification Authority (SETA).
The learnership will also provide the incumbent with a sound understanding on how to safely fabricate, maintain and repair structural steel systems and equipment within a plant.
