Introduction
Air Traffic and Navigation Services State-Owned Company Limited (ATNS SOC Ltd) is proud to invite dynamic and enthusiastic Electrical/ Electronics Engineering students to apply to be part of the Engineering Learnership Programme at the ATNS Aviation Training Academy (ATA) based in Bonaero Park, Johannesburg. The programme runs for 24 months, consisting of eight (8) months training at ATA and sixteen (16) months exposure at different ATNS Operational Centres.
Job description
Who Qualifies?
A candidate who has completed or is about to complete a 3-year National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) /Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degree (completed or about to be completed) from the University of Technology in any of the following fields:
Electronic Engineering
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
Is a South African Citizen with a valid ID
Is Computer Literate (MS Office)
Shows drive to achieve ambitious performance, objectives and quality standards
Is willing to take every opportunity to learn and grow
What happens in the twenty-four months?
The learnership programme will be monitored throughout the 24-month period, which includes mentorship and coaching through a logbook.
Trainees will spend the first three (3) months at ATNS ATA going through introductory training courses, thereafter they will be deployed at identified operational centers for on-site exposure and continuation of training.
After the 24 months programme, the company may place a candidate permanently in a suitable area having considered available vacancies, opportunities, performance and competence.
