The ARC seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and dynamic person to the following position(s) at Animal Production (ARC-AP), Roodeplaat, Pretoria.
Job Description
Maintenance of assets and infrastructure.
Ensure well maintained assets.
Correct quality standards.
Completion of tasks.
Assets well maintained to contribute to core business.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving.
Maintenance and use of tools and equipment.
Equipment clean and in working order.
Correct use according to specs.
Assist manager with stock levels.
Assist manager with register for tools.
Occupational Health and Safety.
Visible use of safety equipment.
Compliance with health and safety regulations.
Workshop clean and need.
Evaluate and implement standards.
Identify operational risks.
Repair of equipment.
Repair of equipment.
Working overtime in crises situation.
This includes all aspects of work phase.
Including (11 Kva lines).
Installing of Equipment.
Installing of new Equipment.
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Refrigeration Work.
Installation and Repairs.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving.
Perform support and Ad hoc services.
Supervise Artisan Assistants team.
The employee will be servicing Irene including outstations as and when a need arises.
Job Requirements
N6 in Electrical or Equivalent qualifications with Trade Test certificate.
3 years of experience in a wide range of artisan work on Electrical.
Good interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.
In possession of a drivers licence.
