Job Description DNA Economics is a specialist economics and development consulting company, based in Pretoria, but active throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. We are currently looking for recent graduates and current students to join our full-time team as a junior economist in early 2024. Applicants should have an interest in any of the following fields of work:
Climate change and energy economics
Data analytics
Monitoring and evaluation
Public finance
Trade and regional integration
Requirements Applicants must meet the following, minimum, requirements to be considered:
A completed Honour's Degree, ideally in Economics, but DNA will also consider graduates with an academic background in Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, and other social science master’s studies with a strong quantitative component;
Good quantitative and analytical skills;
Excellent writing and communication skills;
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
Willing to travel in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa; and
Legally able to work in South Africa.
