Position/Task Grade: T12 Area of specialization: Ensure the availability, reliability, control and effectiveness of the Data Centre in relation to business requirements, service providers and suppliers to monitor that the level of Data Centre services Department: Infrastructure Services Business Unit: infrastructure provisioning and hosting (data center) Division: Group IT
Job description
· Monitor and report on overall Data Centre availability and capacity optimization
· Advise on the design, build, and oversee hosting of all ICT equipment in a
physical secure environment by performing installations, decommissioning of
equipment
· Support the sustainability of engagements with all Group IT functions
· Perform Data Centre implementation strategies related to all towers of service and
· successful hosting of all types of different hardware (servers, network, storage,
etc.)
· Assist the Data Centre Manager with planning and researching new Data Centre

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· National Diploma in Information Management / Information Systems/Information Sciences at NQF 6 with 240 Credits
Related Minimum Experience:
· 3 years’ experience on Data Centre environments and critical infrastructure systems
