Operating from the Premier FMCG Lords view Central Distribution Centre (CDC), we are dedicated to excellence in transportation services. As we expand our operations, we're seeking an experienced Code 10 Truck Driver to play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring the seamless distribution of our premium products.
As a Code 10 Truck Driver at Premier FMCG Lords view CDC, you will be an integral part of our distribution network, responsible for transporting Premier FMCG products between the central distribution centre, suppliers, and retailers.
Qualification Requirements
Matric, Grade 12 certificate
Valid South African Code 10 driver's license with the necessary PDP endorsement
Experience Requirements
Proven experience as a Code 10 truck driver within the FMCG sector.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Ability to operate and maintain Rigid trucks, with a focus on the specific needs of transporting Premier FMCG products.
Excellent navigation skills, with a good knowledge of South African road networks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, vital for effective collaboration within the Premier FMCG supply chain.
Key Outputs
Safely operate and drive a rigid truck, strictly adhering to South African traffic and safety regulations.
Transport FMCG goods between Premier FMCG Lords view CDC and various locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, promptly reporting any issues.
Load and unload goods, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of Premier FMCG products during transportation.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Maintain effective communication with Premier FMCG Lords view CDC dispatchers, fellow drivers, and warehouse employees.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a special emphasis on Premier FMCG industry regulations and safety protocols.
