Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa has exciting opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced candidates for Management Trainee: Governance role. The successful candidates must have the potential to be developed for future roles within the Governance Department. The key purpose is to gain valuable experience in the CCBSA Governance function holistically for future growth opportunities.


The successful candidate will need to contribute meaningfully towards the following key aspects:

• Complete the Governance training plan.

• Build strong business knowledge and capability.

• Support the Compliance team to provide internal control assurance.

• Support the Internal Controls team.

• Business partner with operations to manage risk.

• Support the development of systems to improve the internal control environment.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete the Governance training program.

• Build strong business knowledge and capability.

• Test internal controls in accordance with TCCC Risk and Control model.

• Test proposed documented processes and procedures to ensure that efficiencies and effectiveness within the operation are not negatively impacted.

• Monitor that internal and external audit findings remediation steps are closed out within agreed deadlines.

• Preparation of Governance audit reports to management based on audits conducted.

• Develop a continuous improvement mind-set within the Governance Function, continuously driving to improve processes and reduce costs.

• Responsible to formulate, design and implement projects and initiatives.

• Responsible for process efficiency design, management and implementation of process improvements.

• Support and manage project work as required within the Governance Function.


Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications:

• B. Com or relevant Finance qualification


Experience

• 2-3 years audit experience (internal or external audit)
