Blockman/ Meat Technician
A new butchery in Nelspruit, Mataffin is looking for an experienced Blockman to provide high quality meat and services to their customers.
Purpose of the Job
The person will be responsible for cutting of the following: Carcasses, beef forequarter, beef hindquarter, lamb and pork. Sausage production, assisting with stock takes, receiving of stock and uphold, maintaining Company standards and assist the company with adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.

Requirements
Grade 12/Senior Certificate will add as an advantage
Ability to read and write English
Be able to communicate
Be able to work unsupervised
Be able to work under pressure
Experience
Experience in a meat market/butchery environment is compulsory.
Previous meat processing experience
Experience with meat grinders, knives, saws, and be Machinery Competent.
