Employer: AVBOB Mutual Assurance Society We are looking for a customer orientated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Direct Marketing team. You will be responsible for achieving the goals and targets of direct marketing as set by management, selling of policies and benefits and giving of sound advice. You will be working for a company that is over 100 years old with strong values which are customer centric. In return for your services, you will be paid a competitive package which includes pension fund contributions and a medical aid allowance. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • To successfully sell Avbob insurance products and maintain business.

  • Keeping of daily, weekly and monthly statistics.

  • Accurate typing and loading of client information.

  • Meeting of sales targets as set by management.

  • Compiling of statistics reports to management on a weekly basis.

Candidate Requirements REQUIREMENTS:

  • You should be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.

  • You should have mathematics/ accounting as school subjects.

  • Client Services or Customer Care course (will be an advantage).

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • You should have a minimum of 6 months’ sales experience.

  • High proficiency in English (ability to speak and understand).

  • Fluency of an African language (will be an advantage).

  • Advanced computer literacy in email and MS Office and Windows.

  • Sound knowledge of sales techniques.

  • Extensive knowledge of telephone etiquette.

  • Planning, organizing and accuracy.

  • Resilience, problem solving and analysis.

  • Commercial awareness, innovating and persuasiveness.
