Job Description

• Prepare complex culture media independently (without assistance)

• Handling of chemical substance independently (without assistance)

• Sub-culturing and Isolation of microbial spores / cells / cultures

• Preparation of seed, growth chambers and Myco spores (Sterilization, Sanitation etc.)

• Assist on research projects (Tricho and Azo Feedstock studies, Liquid product formulation development, Product compatibility test, etc.)

• Assist on R&D trials (may require a component of physical labour)

• Assist on ad hoc tasks as required

• Basic training to be provide to complete mentioned tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum BTech / BSc microbiology / BSc Agric. A BSc in Plant Pathology is advantageous.

• Must have a reliable source of transport.

• Must be able to work flexible hours / over time on occasion when requested from the R&D Chemist
