Job Purpose
The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has opportunities for suitably qualified and competent individuals to render administrative support services.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Key Performance Areas
Render general clerical support services; Provide supply chain clerical support services within the component; Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component; Provide financial administration support services in the component.
Competencies
Good understanding of the following: Clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics; Legislative framework governing the Public Service; Working procedures in terms of the working environment.
Skills needed: Written and verbal communication; Literacy; Numeracy; Presentation; Decision –making; Computer literacy; Interpersonal; Flexibility; Planning and organising.
Remuneration
R 228 321- R 268 950 per annum (Salary Level 5)

Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
