The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students pursuing a career in accounting to gain practical experience in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations
Participate in the audit process and help ensure compliance with financial regulations
Learn and apply financial analysis techniques to improve our financial operations
Contribute to various finance projects, including budgeting and forecasting
Provide support in managing accounts payable and receivable
Ensure accuracy in all financial documents and assist with document saving on the shared drive.
Capture fixed assets, do asset count and fixed asset reconciliations
Assist with inbound calls for member benefit queries

Requirements
Diploma or degree in accounting or relevant qualification
Recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is a plus
