ADVERTISEMENT FOR 2023-2024 WORK-INTEGRATED LEARNING (WIL)

Necsa Group, through Human Capital Development (HCD), is contributing toward skills development by offering a twelve (12) months CHIETA funded Work Integrated Learning Programme.


Requirements:

• Unemployed South African graduates between the age of 18 and 35

• In possession of relevant fully achieved tertiary qualification in the field specified below

• Only South African citizens will be considered for these opportunities.

• Preference will be given to Female Black applicants residing in the Gauteng Province



NO OF INTERN POST DEPARTMENT QUALIFICATION SUMMARY OF DUTIES

1 Credit Control WIL

Accounts Receivable

QUALIFICATION Accounting Diploma or Qualification in Credit Control Management

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Knowledge of Accounts receivable.

Implement effective processes to maximize cash collections by ensuring timeous collection and approval and managing acceptable risks levels, this includes liaising with the credit bureau;

Proactively liaise with external and internal clients to ensure timeous collection and provide management with appropriate recommendations;

Examine the internal and external audit findings and implement corrective measures as well as preventative measures;

Initiate preparation for legal proceedings and ensure appropriate follow-ups and feedback to management; Review all monthly reconciliations as well as initiate the write-offs relating to debtors control;

Ad hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.


2 Financial Accounting WIL

Finance: Business Units

QUALIFICATION Diploma in Finance/ BCom with Accounting

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsible for processing invoices

Reviewing Payment Requisitions

Monthly Forecasting

Filing

Ad hoc ad-hoc activities


4 Supply Chain Management WIL

Supply Chain Management

QUALIFICATION Diploma in Supply Chain/ Procurement t/ Logistics and Inventory Management)

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Assess compliance of RFQs in line with SCM Policies and Procedures

Issuing and receiving of goods

Registration of suppliers onto the NECSA database

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Generating orders

Updating supplier information

Tender administration

Inventory control

Compile and send out a request for quotation.


4 Human Resource Development WIL

Human Capital Development

QUALIFICATION ETD Diploma / Degree or equivalent in HRD

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

To render Education and Training support to HCD Department and NLA

Assisting in the Coordination of the Necsa internship program and learnership program.

Assist in training coordination and rendering administration services in line with Necsa internal prescripts & SETA requirements

Assist in the coordination and Administration of the bursaries and scholarship program

Compile the Necsa internal agreement

contract for the learners Drafting of the appointment letter and regret letters

Arrange for security clearance and submit to relevant offices and receive results and keep records in a proper filing.


2 Industrial Physics WIL

Analytical and Calibration Services

QUALIFICATION Industrial Physics Diploma

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Receiving equipment to be calibrated;

calibration of radiological equipment using radioactive sources;

Capturing data and results using applicable systems;

generating calibration certificates;

Ensuring the correctness of issued certificates by checking calibration certificates.

Responsible for arranging that calibrated equipment is ready for customers in compliance with specification and quality management system.

Perform ad-hoc duties that are related to administrative work that is not specifically listed on the function above as and when required by the Section Head of the laboratory.


2 Physics WIL

Applied Radiation

QUALIFICATION Industrial Physics Diploma

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Calibration of radiation detectors equipment using radioactive sources;

Capturing data and results using applicable systems in an industrial-based application;

Interpret results and draw conclusions.

Prepare and present results in a written report and /or presentation format.

Perform ad-hoc duties that are related to administrative work which are not specifically listed in the function above as and when required by the Research Leader of the laboratory


3 Analytical Chemistry WIL

Analytical and Calibration Services

QUALIFICATION Completed S4 National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Conduct routine sample analyses in the laboratory in order to ensure the delivery of a quality and cost-effective analytical service to stakeholders in line with all relevant policies, procedures, SHEQ, and regulatory requirements


4 Culinary WIL

Necsa Learning Academy

QUALIFICATION Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Knowledge of basic cooking skills

Implement and maintain a hygiene program according to Hygiene standards

Liaise with external and internal clients to ensure timeous service delivery;

Serve clients and function service

Understand and implement basic dietary requirements

Ad hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.
